Ordering & Payment

How do I order?
Add any retablo, sticker, apparel, or accessory to your cart from its product page and check out securely — no account required. Everything shares one cart, so you can order across categories in a single checkout.
Is my payment information safe?
Yes — checkout is handled entirely by Stripe, a payment processor used by millions of businesses. Pocket Retablos never sees or stores your card number.
Can I track my order?
Yes — once your order ships, use the Track Order page with your order number and the email you used at checkout to see its status.

Shipping

Where do you ship?
Currently within the United States. See the Policies page for current shipping details.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated automatically at checkout based on the size and number of items in your order — no separate quote needed.
How will my order be packaged, and when will it ship?
Every piece is packed by hand out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. You'll get an email with tracking information as soon as your order is on its way.

Returns & Care

What if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us right away through the Contact page with photos of the damage and we'll make it right.
What's your return policy?
See the Policies page for the full, current policy.
How should I care for my retablo?
Each retablo is a clear acrylic front over a printed design, backed with wood — wipe the acrylic gently with a soft, dry cloth rather than paper towels or cleaning sprays (which can scratch it), and keep pieces out of prolonged direct sunlight to protect the color over time.

Products & Sizes

What sizes do retablos come in?
Pocket (2″ x 3″ — our most popular size), Small (3″ x 4.5″), and Medium (4″ x 6″). Each product page shows the exact size for that piece.
What are they made of?
A clear acrylic front layer over a full-color UV printed design, backed by walnut-stained wood, and each with a unique scalloped edge design. We keep it simple to reduce any possible damage. Keep it in your front pocket, lean it against a candle, etc.
Do you sell anything besides retablos?
Yes — stickers, apparel, and accessories in the same saint, angel, and heart designs. Browse everything in the Gallery.
What if there is a saint or design I'm looking for that I don't find?
New designs are added regularly. Let us know what you're hoping to find, and we'll keep it in mind.

About Pocket Retablos

What is a retablo?
A retablo is a small devotional painting of a saint — a New Mexico folk-art tradition that goes back to the 1700s, born from local santeros creating their own sacred imagery, on tin or wood, rather than importing it. Their flat, frontal style was a deliberate choice, not a lack of skill. Pocket Retablos brings that same spirit into a small, modern, everyday-carry format. Read more on our About page.
How is "Pocket Retablos" related to "A House of Saints"?
Pocket Retablos is an extension of of its parent website A House of Saints, an Albuquerque devotional art studio built on the same New Mexico retablo tradition. As "A House of Saints" puts it: "The medium has changed. The intention has not." Pocket Retablos carries that same intention into a pocket-sized piece you can carry, gift, or display anywhere. Pocket Retablos are smaller pocket-sized versions of the collection at "A House of Saints".
Are these hand-painted, traditional retablos?
We don't claim to be traditional santeros, and we're not trying to replace that craft. Our pocket retablos are a manufactured commercial printed version of the original design by "A House o Saints". Every design starts as a hand-drawn sketch, then we refine the line work and color digitally and use AI-assisted tools to help finish and embellish each piece. The final stage is sealing and varnishing the sanded and stained wood. Read more about our process on the About page.
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes — loaded countertop displays for shops. See the Wholesale page for photos and details, or contact us directly.
Where are you based?
Albuquerque, New Mexico.
